Crimson Moon update available now for Starlink: Battle for Atlas
I still haven’t played Starlink, but it looks pretty cool – especially for Switch players, who get access to STAR FOX! – and something the family can get into together. Truth be told, I’m more than a little worried if we get into it the kids will fill the house with starships the way they did Skylanders.
Check out the trailer and release below! The game also releases on PC today!
Ubisoft Press Release:
Today, Ubisoft announced that Starlink: Battle for Atlas® received a significant content update that is now available for download. The update is centered on the mysterious appearance of the Crimson Moon in the Atlas star system and is available for download on the Nintendo Switch™ system, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Windows PC.
The new Crimson Moon content is also included in the all-new Windows PC version of the game, available today for $79.99. On PC, Starlink: Battle for Atlas features the same content as the console version and fully supports the DUALSHOCK®4 and Xbox One controller mounts, as well as digital play.
As part of the free update, players can explore the Crimson Moon, theater of the Outlaw Games. Players are able to compete in all-new single-player and two-player split-screen racing tracks, fight waves of ruthless enemies in the Crimson Coliseum and see their rank and stats on leaderboards. The Crimson Moon also impacts the entire world of Atlas and lets players engage with new faction story missions and weekly challenges. Additionally, players are able to expand their roster and play through the new Crimson Moon content with five new pilots, $4.99 each, three new starships, $15.99 each, and four new weapon packs, $6.99 each, available separately for digital-only purchase or all together in the Digital Collection Pack for $69.99.
Alongside the Crimson Moon update, prepare to take control of the Star Fox team members Peppy, Falco and Slippy in brand-new content available exclusively to Nintendo Switch. Hunt down the Star Wolf team in a series of missions with the help of three additional Star Fox team pilots, each with their own unique special ability and skill tree. The new Star Fox content is available separately for digital-only purchase for $15.99 on Nintendo Switch starting today.
