Hardspace: Shipbreaker Trailer Showcases Dozens of Ways to Die

Electrocuted. Dead.

Crushed. Dead.

Reactor meltdown. Dead.

Explosive decompression. Dead.

Lost in space. Dead.

Death is everywhere in Hardspace: Shipbreaker, the upcoming zero g spaceship salvaging game from Blackbird Interactive and Focus Home Interactive. As a salvage tech, gamers will slice up decommissioned spaceships to reap their valuable rewards – if you survive.

After all, there’s a whole lot that can go wrong when you’re cutting up a spaceship in deep space. Cut through the wrong area and *boom* it’s all over. Cut through the right area, but in the wrong order and *boom* you’re still space dust.

Fortunately for you, though that’s somewhat questionable, every death is just a setback as you can be cloned. The downside is that it’ll cost you, but they’ll just add it on to what you already owe and are trying to pay back. It’s a vicious circle but according to almost every popular movie or book, that’s life in space for ya.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker hits Early Access on Steam June 16th, and will be arriving on PS4 and Xbox One in the future.
